The Journal ATLA celebrates its 50th edition in 2022

ATLA (Alternatives to Laboratory Animals) is a key, peer-reviewed journal that has been promoting the Three Rs for 50 years.
This influential journal covers all aspects of research and policy relating to New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) including: novel technologies and applications; in vitro, in silico and in chemico methods; legislation; educational resources; analysis of animal use and welfare; and policy development.
The journal is published by SAGE (https://journals.sagepub.com/home/atl) in partnership with FRAME (Fund for the Replacement of Animals in Medical Experiments, https://frame.org.uk/) to ensure that it reaches a truly global audience. A ‘free to publish’ option is available.
